The Boat Live 365 campaign is dedicated to collecting and providing reliable public education resources for safe boating. Each of those resources have established their own set of guidelines, permissions and copyrights for usage. Make sure you’re familiar with the requirements when promoting material created by those organizations.

Photography, imagery or artwork

Before publisizing images, statements or artwork in marketing materials It’s important to get permission for their use.

It may seem harmless to post a photo of volunteers or attendees at an event … it’s not. Be sure to receive permission to use their imagery prior to making them public. You will especially need approval if the participant is a minor.
